This class is particularly suited to those recovering from chemotherapy or surgery, living with grief or chronic health issues, and anyone needing to learn new techniques for lowering stress. There is a strong sense of mutual support and caring among the class members.

The class welcomes participants of diverse experiences, sizes, and ages. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Judith will work with you and your yoga mates to enhance your friendships, improve your health, and restore balance to your lives (mind, body, spirit) through yoga. The possibilities are boundless!

ONE-ON-ONE (private sessions)

Have a specific need requiring immediate, focused attention? Judith will design a yoga practice to address your current situation: health concerns, travel tension, private home practice, grief, chemotherapy and recovery, family transitions, self-care and more.

CARDIO STRENGTH CLASS

This class features six weekly sessions of studio work utilizing yoga poses and free weights. In addition to the 1 hour studio class, you are encouraged to practice at home for 15 minutes once or twice a week to build strength and stamina.

Judith will be your partner in developing a convenient and efficient practice to enhance the health of your heart and increase your overall level of fitness. You will sweat! Doing “a little bit a lot” yields dramatic benefits to health and appearance in a short period of time. You’ll have fun, stay focused and be transformed – in six weeks.

Judith provides each student with a CD of heart-pumping music specially selected for your home practice. Weekly handouts featuring helpful illustrations and directions for exercises introduced in class will guide you safely and productively through your independent practice. One-on-one support from Judith is also available by phone or email.

This class is for anyone who wants to develop a habit of healthful exercise at home and in the studio.

HEALING AND WHOLENESS YOGA

What does your body need to feel whole again?


In this class you will receive whatever restoration your body, mind, spirit longs for as you move into healing breath awareness (prana), gentle yoga poses (asanas), and simple meditation techniques that address your individual needs. From this gentle flowing practice the body will be better able to access its own natural ability to cleanse, heal, rest, strengthen, balance, and build immunities.

GENTLE FLOW YOGA

Yes, you can do yoga! If you have been holding onto the idea that yoga is only for the young, the very flexible, or the spiritually inclined, let it go. Gentle Flow Yoga will convince you that yoga is a fantastic fitness practice for every body regardless of age or ability.

You won’t be asked to do a headstand or “pretzel” poses, but you will be encouraged to try stretching in gentle, safe and energizing ways that will quickly make you a firm believer in the health benefits of yoga. Your body will be the guide as to how you move and flow through poses that stretch, strengthen, and balance the entire body.

Breath work and relaxation poses teach you how to de-stress both during your practice and in your day-to-day living. DEEPER FLOW YOGA

This class teaches how to create a perfect balance of energy and calm for both body and mind.

Deeper Flow Yoga is an active, flowing style (vinyasa yoga) that links poses together with the breath. It is proven to enhance balance, strength, cardiovascular health, and flexibility. Options for modification of poses are given enabling each individual to determine how far, how long and how deep to flow and flex. Blocks, straps, and core balls are utilized in Deeper Flow Yoga increasing the benefits of breath work and body movement.

Specific areas of the body are targeted (hamstrings, spine, core, etc) depending upon the needs and requests of the class members. Safety is always emphasized in a non-competitive and respectful environment.

This class is appropriate for all levels.

POWER FLOW YOGA

Feel the heat in this dynamic and challenging flow class that unites endurance, strength and flexibility. Be prepared to sweat! Previous flow yoga experience recommended.
